Goodfriend became a neighborhood staple the day it opened its doors. This beer garden + burger house is known for serving up some of the best bar food in Dallas. Goodfriend was built in the early years of Forty-Four, and was really the first time we were given carte blanche on a project.
We focused on a few things here, a classic bar, a vintage lounge, and a year round patio. Installing a few garage doors allowed the entire restaurant to feel the breeze on nice days and the vintage relics scattered around make for a nice ambiance.
Goodfriend is like a fine wine, it keeps getting better with age.
